Apart from anything else, I feel the book would be incomplete without a chapter devoted to Mark Norton's wonderful dissection of the M8 and accompanying photos.

By the way, don't you guys even DARE finalize this project before I´m back from my jaunt into the wilds of Africa. I´m back online from November 6th....

My first day out with my M8. taken from the top of the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco. I was pleased that even the bridge came in clear.

I've just decided that this is my second favourite shot - taken earlier today.

Do we have an anticipated cost for this book?
I realize there are still lurkers who plan to post, but is there a ballpark idea or an idea by number of pages? tnx.

What does everyone think about the selection so far? Does it need to be more refined, who should chose the ones that get into the book and who's gonna organize the print (if at all?).

And this portrait is my real favourite, one of the first pictures I took with the M8 & 90 macro. In the category 'landscape' I like this example of the dramatism that the M8 can deliver (Alps - Val d'Agnel-Parc Ela).

I will be glad to assist as desired. 1. My vote would be to take all pictures submitted. 2. I have also suggested an appendix with photographer and print info. 3. I also agree that Mark Norton's disassembly pictures should be in the book. I plan to buy multiple copies (unless number 1 above is not approved, and I don't make the cut...)

This is my favorite image i took with the Leica M8. The M8 makes nice picture with very authentic colors, but this one, reduced to the minimum, is my favorite. Took it at 1/45 Sek with ISO 2500 with lense Summilux ASPH. 35 mm without a tripod.
