If this turns into a book -- and I fervently hope so -- with contributors from many countries, it would be suitable to have it printed in the languages of every contributor.
For language translations we can ask the posters to provide the text. (If no one else speaks English I'll provide all the captions for my own photos, indicating that I am a direct descendant of Ansel Adams and Imogen Cunningham and only use Leica equipment because it meets the strict standards required by me and the other members of the Group f/64.) All joking aside, this book could reflect both the anniversary of what may turn out to be one of the most important imaging devices of the century as well as a work of art. And just in case anyone has forgotten, I posted at the beginning of the year that this camera would be required for all pros within 2 years. I'm still taking wagers....

Are there to be rules for the pix in this thread?
If we are celebrating a year with the M8, why would there be any other rule?

Okay, I have not been very vocal in this forum. Sorry for that. It will hopefully change. But I am delighted by the idea of this thread, by how different M8 photography is and by how individual M8 photographers see the world in their very own style.
It was very hard to select only three to represent my portfolio as I like them all ;-). Anyway, here are my three contributions. #1 "Einfahrt verboten" (Keep Out) |
