Olsen, you have a lot more of imagination than me.
I only have one eye.

Maurizio, I like the subtlety of the color version, too.

Nice going.

Sthan and Bill, thanks for your comments.
By the way, looking at the full format picture, i see the two whit dots in the wood... they're white paint!...

I guess the bird's hypotesis was the closest to reality....

Olsen, you are limited to 3 pix. When you choose, if you include the 4th pic we'll need a release if it is someone you know (I take it that this is your child).

Regards,

Regards,
Bill,

Ah, OK!

No, it's not my child. I just included this just to show a picture taken with another lens than the WATE. If I have to choose three, then let it be the three first ones. Or what do you think?

Olsen, that's fine. We'll go with the first 3. Nix pix, too.

Victor, you don't get off the hook that easily. You pick the pic.

However, we won't need a model release for the last one. It also fits the "Many Eyes" theme.

well, i like the two 'figures' guy (can HE be a guy? the one in #121 actually he was younger than I ! LOL)

and yes, 'i like "here's lookin' at ya!"

well, the intrpid bird (he did get out in time) or the sunbird?

any idea? are either worth it? any opinions?

regards
Victor

Victor, I like both the surf pictures. In the first one, I suspect that the purple highlights are an artifact that you can remove with software mentioned in the Digital Forum. There is a $10 solution for this. It would be worth seeing the picture with the fringing out of the highlights.

Check this thread

Purple artifacts in water drops

particularly posts #3, 7, and 9.

You can go here to buy the add-in -- and I just bot one myself as it's the second time I've looked at the site.

Regards,

thanks!
I was wondering. You know, the drops do act as fringes, so it was not objectionable to me (happened all the time with film!)

but better to clean up. I will try it!

The sun pix was surprisingly free of flare

regards
Victor

I was surprised too. Maybe the angle of the sun? Was there more cloud cover?

Bless Digital.

well, i did get the fringe action. Here is the result. The fringing was not purple, and of course it was mixed with normal color spectral effects. The rsisdual I think is more just normal scattering

Victor, have you got the DNG file of this picture?
I hope that something more could be done to correct this...
Which software did you use?
