Christiane on the top level of the "Habsburg" in Switzerland.
Elmar 90mm, 1:4, uncropped, unchanged, straight off of the M8. I took this picture 2 days ago but its already my favorite. The light was brilliant and the ambience of the carved wood added to the atmossphere. I went plain lucky :-) Last edited by Perspectics : 05/13/08 at 07:01 PM. |

Here are my three (at least that is what I think today).
U2 Pankow, my entry for the Leica One Challenge last year. I still like this one a lot. U2-Pankow_v3_BW_web_m8_book.jpg Summicron-M 28mm ASPH at f16, 2 seconds, 160 ISO, Zone focus. Yellow - purple - red: Detail from a fresco called "the eye". The colours just jump off the screen. Even for a B&W person like my this is bold and fun. L1006994_websized_black.jpg Zeiss Biogon 21mm f2:8 ZM at f4, 1/360 sec, 160 ISO Metal worker: There is something in the light from the torch and the flying sparks that I like. Tried numerous B&W conversions on this, but keep coming back to the colour version, couldn't make it work the way I wanted in B&W. Shot one morning in January on my way to work. L1005873_web_m8_book.jpg Summilux 50mm (1st version) at f5.6, 1/180 sec, 640 ISO Cheers, - Carl Last edited by cbretteville : 05/13/08 at 09:35 PM. |

To clarify the model release requirement -- No release is needed for people photographed in public.
We will need a model release for someone who is known to the photographer. An example of this would be post # 241, above, of Christiane.

I'll try to post my first pix in the forum, taken in December 2007. Hope they make it to the book.

Nice water shot, Carl. Too bad about the banding.
Deadline at midnight, Sunday, folks. Regards,

Here are three of my M8 photos for the book, all taken in Italy in June 2007. Many thanks to Bill for organising this!

Bill,
Here are my three offerings for the book. I felt that with the brouhaha surrounding the sensor's IR sensitivity that perhaps I should include an IR shot to emphasise the unexpected benefit of IR sensitivity. Pete. Houses of Parliament Park Hill The Gherkin
