Richard, that is so eerie (#217). A great substitute, tho I like the blurred horse.

I have selected three unrelated images to submit on the basis that the editor of the book will be free to 'mix 'n match' entries to create a co-herent presentatation. I don't expect that each contributor will have their three images published together as this could create a 'fractured' look to the book. Also, there is the clear possibility that only one or two images from each contributor may be selected. If preferred, I can easily submit three related images but don't expect all (or any) of my images may be selected.

Scott, I showed your pix to the bride this morning and she likes them a lot. Too bad; you still have to choose.

It was just suggested to me that the pictures vary in character, for example, color saturation, contrast, and so on.
Making them fit together will be an intersting task, and the purpose of this post is to assure the contributors that the ordering of the book will be done in a collaborative fashion. I plan to take a first shot at it and then redo the process with several other people. When there is an order to reveal, I'll post it and wait for comments. The images are fantastic.

Bill,
Three images attached for the M8 book. All taken on the 9th March 2008 in Trafalgar Square, London, where Kosovo Albanians were celebrating their recently declared Independance. All 50mm lens. Thank you John Banting

Bill, the book is an excellent idea! And - I will take 20, not 5.
My pictures have been taken in the south of Munich, close to the Austrian border, a unique landscape, formed/carved during the last ice age called "wuerm ice age", around 15.000 years ago.

Wait I just read the other thread and about the model release
#2 and #3, These are shot in Milan and don't even know who these people are does this mean they disqualify? If so is it ok if they are showing people's back? What about public figures, like the pope? Here is my pope picture BTW |
