Default Plane Pole

With the new cv25 which arrived today. Cracking little lens and the 24mm framelines of the M8 are spot-on with it.

Graeme. ncely seen & presented. I like the look of these CV lenses. They appear to be good value, but they aren't Leitz Glass by any standard.

Ben, until a few weeks ago, I might have agreed but I then purchased a CV 50 Nokton and the lens is just a sparkling performer on the M8 - you'd almost think they were made for each other.

I'm a 24/2.8 user which is possibly the best lens that Leica makes, imho, but I'd like to see a side by side comparison with the 25/4 at the same aperture. I really do wonder if there would be a vast amount of difference.

Great shot, btw, with a nice perspective and good background cloud detail.
