Amado - I think you've captured a feeling of depression and weltanschauung, compounded by the overbearingly faceless tower block in the background. But then I'm feeling rather pessimistic today :-)
cheers:
Sam

Thanks for your thoughts, Sam.
I thought the same thing when I saw the turnout.
Though honestly, I did not think it would be so depressing when I took it.
I like it very much though.
The title is from a song that is even more depressing.
I believe it to be a Hungarian song.
But I have only heard and love the Billie Holiday version. Very strong.

Default AW: Gloomy Sunday

Hello Amado,

Admission with radiant emittance, caught in a beautiful motive: So beautifully sadly. In the fog and vapor imposed. The reality fading.

Kind regards

Wolfgang

It's a very good shot, and quite in keeping with the mood of that famous song. I would like a wee bit more shadow detail on the right (just so the outline is a little more defined). But that's it!

Hi Amado,
Is it The window of hope ?

A window of hope
Shining the light on every problem
A window of hope
There's always a chance that you can solve them
When you think it's all over and you wanna let go
The faintest glow is there to help you, I know
Keep looking for the light of
The window of hope

Oleta Adams of course!
Nice picture though
All the best
Ruben

Ed, Thank you!

Ruben---Sorry, it's a song called 'Gloomy Sunday'. The one by B.Holiday.

Carter / s. lewis / r. seress

Sunday is gloomy,
My hours are slumberless
Dearest the shadows
I live with are numberless
Little white flowers
Will never awaken you
Not where the black coaches
Sorrow has taken you
Angels have no thoughts
Of ever returning you
Wouldnt they be angry
If I thought of joining you?

Gloomy sunday

Gloomy is sunday,
With shadows I spend it all
My heart and i
Have decided to end it all
Soon therell be candles
And prayers that are said I know
But let them not weep
Let them know that Im glad to go
Death is no dream
For in death Im caressin you
With the last breath of my soul
Ill be blessin you

Gloomy sunday

Dreaming, I was only dreaming
I wake and I find you asleep
In the deep of my heart here
Darling I hope
That my dream never haunted you
My heart is tellin you
How much I wanted you
Gloomy sunday
