Thanks for the comment. I suspect we are of a similar age and might be the only ones round here to get the cinematic reference.....

I don't know what this old geezer was up to. I think he was actually feeding the birds which are equivalent to winged rats, imho.

We probably are around the same age. In Celsius I'm a bit over 17. If you haven't seen it, rent my favorite Mel Brooks film, High Anxienty, in which he pokes fun at about a half dozen Hitchcock films, including this one.

I think we've had this conversation before, it goes along the lines of "Mel Brookes is a genius and the best film he ever made is...." My favourite is Young Frankenstien but I agree about High Anxiety - a classic!

Young Frankenstein is tied with High Anxiety for my two favorite films of his. Unfortunately, the musical version on the Broadway stage is quite disappointing.
