Default A study of chairs

Three shots of chairs all shot in Amagansett, NY by the ocean. Equipment: Lumix LX1 with Vario Elmarit.

Enjoy.

great peter. i especially love the 1st one becasue it feels perfect to me in its formalitic composition.
the 2n is cool too but i think a better processing will do it better (just slightly different processing not by much). not that i mind too much about all the detials in the waves in the left and center, but it brakes here some feeling of "substance".

I agree with Victor. The first one has a great composition to it. So many chairs, so neatly arranged, and with such a great view. Why nobody was sitting in them is a mystery!

Best,

Yes, number 1 is specialy good, may be because the sea is not beautiful and the sky cloudy !
That makes the position of the chairs even more odd...

I like #3&1. #2 could maybe do with less exposure but is not so interesting as a horizontal frame

The first one is great in my opinion. Well composed and nice colors.

Thank you all for your kind comments. Looking at them fresh on a web page I'd have to say that 1 is perhaps my favorite. Anyone notice that there's someone sitting in the third chair from the left as well as a bather off in the distant right?

Again, many thanks for the fortitutous shot that I encountered.
