José, did you try with the bounced flash? Sometimes, results are surprisingly good.

The truth is that the flash on my D2 doesn't work!
Probably they will have the camera back to Solems again

in this case is better than the flash have not functioned because the result is excellent. Your "savoir faire" has compensated it. Well done.
