Hi Mike,
Liked your racks. I don't think this is too minimalist, but I think the wall, and the shoes are very interesting, but the floor isn't. So I cropped. Not that it's better. But, it helps me learn. Hope you don't mind. Best, Mitchell Shoes2.jpg |

As stated the white balance ain't working, I tried a B&W version, that didn't add to the image. I'd re-shoot the idea from several viewpoints and a less texturally repetative background, or I would leave the idea to rest for a while as it is a bit of a hard path to travel and a new fresh outlook could help

I changed the WB and re-croped a little.. Imants is right, I know what this image says to me, but I need to think about the composition. Thanks

Ok.....I use Corel but for CS2;
Image/Canvas size then follow your nose. This expands the "paper" out from under your image. Work in pixels, set the canvas size to the colour of the next piece of border. So first is add black say six pixels to add three both sides in pinline, next step is add a hundred pixels in white. Make sure aspect ratio is unchecked so that you manually add the height and width changes. .....c1.JPG........c2.jpg |
