Default AW: Nicole's Beach

Wilfredo,
a nice and calm picture. It gives me the feeling of a quite unstressed time on holiday at the beach.

Regards,
Andreas

Great image Wilfredo and the tonal range are superb , but as someone said before , I do find the tilted sea horizon a bit disturbing .
Have you left it deliberately like that ?

Greetings Armin

Wilfredo -

Peaceful with the lushest shadings and sbtle light. I'd rotate the image about 2 degrees to the right.

Thank you all. I hadn't really given much thought to the tilted horizon but I do like it that way, :-) I think it adds a little drama. Sometimes I do intentionally tilt, big time, just my personal preference. This particular stretch of beach is isolated with few visitors, which makes it great. By the way, I call it Nicole's beach because my friend Nicole (who takes walks on this beach regularly) is the one who introduced me to the location.

Cheers,
Wilfredo

Default rich photograph

the flock of birds on this isolated strip of beach is the subject, but for me the seawater blending with the sand elevates this photograph
I have always found this fascinating and your photograph captured this special texture remarkably well
outstanding seascape
congrats
