Nice dogs! They seem to like your new lens. You ought to try these "beauty shots" with some Portra 160 NC or Portra 400 VC and see how you like it. Wait until Bill H. sees these!

Thank you Albert and William!

They did cooperate for the portrait session and I thing I will get along well with the lens. It will take a bit to get to know it but I am pretty impressed with the first snaps
I will get some Kodak in with the next batch of film, slowly working my way trough the different films.

I do love my critters and with a bunch of them around you never run out of things to take pictures off

They do make good subjects and if you try out gear you can always repeat the shot

Having got our dog out of the kennels today (she wasn't allowed to come to Rome with us...), you forget just how much they are part of your life until they're out of it for a week.

Great portraits - possibly the best dog shots on the forum. Not "cutesy, cutesy", but dignified and strong. Thanks.

Andy, Great Danes are a bit more dignified then a pom I am sure you got the big welcome when you picked yours up.
