Default Hi-Tec...

... depends on the perspective. Some decades ago, this has been state of the art. The fascinating thing is, that it still works, even without being cleaned up inside I couldn't resist banning the glow on film.

Default AW: Hi-Tec...

Geile Sache :-)

Ich habe auch noch 'ne Stereoendstufe in Benutzung mit 2x4 EL36 und ein paar Trioden.
Klingt einfach genial.
Und läuft und läuft und läuft...

Grüße, Thomas.

Marcus -

So much valve or vacuum tube gear, new and old sounds wonderful, and the vintage gear fetches high prices in Japan.

Nice shots, as warm as the glow.

Thanks for all the comments Coffee perculator and waffle iron ...

I like the tune of vacuum tube based devices, too. Although there are some clear advantages of a LP over a CD which are based on physics I do not know why the vacuum tube amplifiers sound so much nicer. However, it is also nice that there remain some miracles.
