Using Two Projectors

I usually give 4 or 5 slide shows every year to various groups , such as pensioners , Women's Institute etc . Normally I have one P600 IR projector projecting onto one screen , and that is fine.

Sometimes at home I do disolve shows using two P600 s or a CA2502 .

 

Last week I gave a show when I wanted to have two screens and two projectors so as to be able to do comparisons. I was giving a show about ship design . The pictures were changed independently .

 

I wanted to use two P600 IR's but with the IR remote control both projectors change together. I tried a P300 IR and that changed as well . I was not going to take my CA2502 as it is not reliable .

 

I ended up having to use a Kodak Carousel SAV with a P600 IR and thus I could control each projector independently . . Is there any way I could control 2 P600 IR projectors independently ? Perhaps change the remote frequency on one of the projectors ? Get a long remote lead , which I do not like ?

 

I have never done a 2 independent projector show before , and may try it again . The audience liked having two pictures up on two screens so as to compare various features on the ships.

 

Any sugestions , other than the digital option of scanning the slides and using something like Keynote or Powerpoint ?

Using a remote control for one projector would seem to be the easiest solution. Not sure how long this remote control is but should be easy to add an extension to it

Have you considered approaching The Widescreen Centre in Dorset St, London ?
