concretist Posted February 3, 2015 Share #1 Posted February 3, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've been shooting with a canon 5d mk3 for awhile and decided to take the plunge into the Leica world. I just received my M240 and Monochrom along with the 50 APO, noctilux .95, and half a dozen various lenses. Oh, I bought a M6 Titan too. Thought I'd like to try shooting film again as well as seeing the differences these 10K dollar lenses make between digital and film. I travel a great deal, mostly Big Bend National Park, New Mexico, Colorado on motorcycle (BMW R100 gspd). I also like walking the streets of Paris and taking photos from a flâneur's point of view. erl Posted February 3, 2015 Share #3 Posted February 3, 2015 (edited) Welcome to the forum! I particularly like your second shot, with the face 'in the sky'. First shot is nice too. Edited February 3, 2015 by erl

erl Posted February 3, 2015 Share #7 Posted February 3, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I like the painterly effect of the third pic. Is that a reflection in a chrome plated panel that is not perfectly flat?
concretist Posted February 3, 2015 Author Share #8 Posted February 3, 2015 It is the reflection of a street scene in Marfa, Texas from metalized reflective film in a window. Welcome, dear visitor! DigitalHeMan Posted February 3, 2015 Share #9 Posted February 3, 2015 Welcome, and nice shots. Would be nice to see some shooting data on them - what lenses did you use?
