JohnBragg1 Posted November 18, 2014 Share #1 Posted November 18, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi from the far south west of England. I am based in Penwithick near St Austell in Cornwall. I shoot film in a Leica M6 and have an interest in collecting all the cameras that I could never afford before the digital revolution. Especially Nikon pro models . I develop my own film and shoot Ilford HP5+ and Kodak Tri-X mostly. I have a long time interest in darkroom work, but these days I scan my negs and have adapted to a hybrid workflow.

XVarior Posted November 18, 2014 Share #2 Posted November 18, 2014 Hi John, nice to meet you and welcome. Film is unique and you must be an inspiration for those who are considering getting into that magical world for the first time or to those "like me" who started photography with film, moved to digital and now are about to get back to film. I can't wait to see your work, hear some tips and advices. Rodrigue

Bill Clark Posted November 25, 2014 Share #15 Posted November 25, 2014 Hi John, I'm in the same boat as you as I didn't buy film Leica cameras until recently. I have my first analog darkroom ever! Before I used a card table for the enlarger & timer. And now I have a wet area and I don't have to put a tray on the floor anymore. Like you I'm dipping my toe into the pool of scanning! Welcome!
