Hello everybody

First time I post something on this forum

I use the R-adapter mount since a few weeks now.

It's quite obvious that nothing can replace a R Body.

The finder has no zoom like the M coded lenses

Raw files don't recognize correctly the apertures.

Finaly, I prefer the results with my Digital Modul R with his old (and poor) 10MP

And we waited years for this R solution!!

I put Nikon mounts on my R glass before the 240 came along and that will be their final resting place.

All Leica had to do was have someone make a camera with R mount and a digital sensor.

They have gone off the deep end creating fancy stuff nobody wants. The RF will disappear over the next few cycles and they will tell us everyone likes focus peaking.

S2 is probably a fine camera, just like Ferrari is a fine car, but just way to expensive. Now we have the T model, Leica, not Ford, that is not even full frame and has no viewfinder, but costs like plenty. Rich soccer mom machine if you ask me.

Leicas owner is like our politicians who have no connection to real people.

No we did not wait. In the same sentence that announced the demise of the R system Mr. Daniel said: There will be an R solution in the future, but it will not be made by Leica.

I think there was a wait or gap between the DMR and the m240. For some - focus peaking is not a solution. I would like to see a reflex camera. Given that Leica already owns the tooling for the R9 and Leica has a R sensor in the M 240 - a real reflex R solution seems possible.

However, we know it is very unlikely at this point. I dont mind manual focus R solutions as long as I have a real optical viewfinder - but I expect I might be one of the few willing to accept manual focus in a modern slr. I cant see Leica offering AF with yet another system
