Thank you. I just bought an M8 after not touching my M6 for 3 years...no time for my darkroom so thought I would venture into the digital world. Have a lot to learn....feels like I'm starting all over! Don't think I would have taken the plunge if it wasn't for this forum. I continue to learn by the day.

What I treasure most about the Forum is the opportunity to learn, and the opportunities are rife. Regarding this exscellent photo. I encourage you to begin fooling around with post processing -- basically an electronic darkroom. I iteratively added a bit more highlight and shadow and arrived at this, which is a bit like using harder paper in a wet darkroom:

I like it Stuart! Much more punch. I also just purchased Aperture and Nik Silver. Now I have the tools. My initial impression is "too many options" to choose from! I used to use RiX film, Ilford paper and D76--never changed and learned it well.
I appreciate the input and am looking forward to the steep learning curve.
