Default Santa Barbara Sunset

Smoke from the "Tea House" fire creates a spectacular sunset over the Channel Islands.

Richard,

As you said, spectacular. I bet the sun was blood red, even when high up in the sky. Unfortunately, it's not the first time we're seeing the consequences of a massive fire.

Thank you Peter and "Azzo".

Indeed; it has been a terrible weekend for California.

Richard -

This makes me think of the beautiful semi-abstract landscapes of a Japanese graphic artist, whose name escapes me. Beautiful.

Thank you, Stuart.

I, too like the abstract nature of the photo.
