Hello,
I've been playing with the raynox dcr 250 supermacro converter clicked on the lens of my V-lux 1. The converter is only 32 euro's so I find it worth trying out what converters for 'compact' camera's do. Here's one of the results, what do you think of it?: ![]() |

As a macro photo I cannot comment because the subject and detail shown are too abstract for me to judge on that level. But as a work of art I think it is excellent for its play of similar colors, light, detail and selective focus. |

You're right about the level of detail in the macro. At the settings I used for this photo I get the biggest enlargement possible for this camera, but I have to stick to really tiny things to take as a subject to get the whole thing into the frame. As you see here a single lavender flower is bigger than fits the photo. Still its fun exploring what you cannot see by the naked eye, whether the result turns out artistic or not ![]() |
