Default Lavender supermacro

Hello,
I've been playing with the raynox dcr 250 supermacro converter clicked on the lens of my V-lux 1. The converter is only 32 euro's so I find it worth trying out what converters for 'compact' camera's do.
Here's one of the results, what do you think of it?:

Saskia -

As a macro photo I cannot comment because the subject and detail shown are too abstract for me to judge on that level. But as a work of art I think it is excellent for its play of similar colors, light, detail and selective focus.

stuart, thank you for your comment.
You're right about the level of detail in the macro.
At the settings I used for this photo I get the biggest enlargement possible for this camera, but I have to stick to really tiny things to take as a subject to get the whole thing into the frame. As you see here a single lavender flower is bigger than fits the photo.
Still its fun exploring what you cannot see by the naked eye, whether the result turns out artistic or not
