Dave -

Terrific light, color, detail and selective focus. We love our DMRs and 80-200 zooms.

Lothar

Thank you for your comments and for looking. As I recall, the only discussions concerned the firmware updates but once v-1.3 was introduced all discussion stopped. Of course from time to time members will have some operational question to ask but apart from that it is a very professional piece of camera engineering producing very professional results both reliably and continually. It is an extremely robust machine.

One strange thing; Although the DMR is basically a low-ISO camera, we never get those "Horrible Noise" posts....

Yes JAAPV, he does. But I excused him as it was early and he hadn't had time yet for his first cup of coffee, clean his teeth, (errh sorry beak,) or brush his feathers! If you look closely one wing is lower than the other as he had only just got up from sleeping with his head under his wing and hasn't even yawned or stretched his wings and legs!

Seriously though, I think that he is probably quite an old bird as he was quite alone staying on rocks adjacent to a fishing harbour, so that he could pick up the small fish that Cypriot fishermen meticulously thow back when emptying their nets. He has exchanged youthful energy for low cunning in his old age! Oh and I know that feeling so well!
