Pigeon- our daily visitor
Taken with a Panasonic TZ3 and painted in Corel Painter 9.5. This bird and its mate keep trying to build a nest on our terace. We chase them every day but they come back. The female laid an egg on the carpet without a nest last week. Now she wants to lay another. We took the egg away to discourage them. My husband used to raise pigeons so maybe they remember him! LOL

Superb, and perhaps your best "painting" yet. Of course the myth in NYC is that pigeons spring forth completely grown since so very few people have seen the chicks. Roland can tell you that the chicks have a special tooth atop their beaks to help them break out of the egg. |
