Excellent Crispness & Clarity.....one of my favorite creatures.
I think a female... because the tympanium is smaller than the eye.

Jaap, very nice pictures. With Leica M we are quiet limited with regard to this type of photography. Nevertheless, I had a try, which, however, cannot compete with your standard....(I shot this pix with M8 + new Summicron 75mm).

Jaap, how many frogs on my pix ?

I think I see four. I have been so free as to play around with your image a bit. I hope you like the result.It would have been a bit smoother from DNG.

I think there is a fifth one, above the one marked top left hand corner, I am not absolutely sure. However, taking the pix, I only had 2 on my screen....

Pity I haven't more the FORTRAN routines I wrote in 79-80 in University for satellite image processing.. could be useful sometimes...
