OOT... the Lion was the symbol of Venice, and when Venice ruled my town they posed one guarding their lands...

Luigi,

I also like the angle and framing. However, there appears to be a yellow cast to the picture, and a bit of sharpening would make the picture much better, IMHO.

Good observation Peter... a quick try and the stone's hue is effectively more correct (made directly on the reduced jpg..., later on I'll work on the original DNG... surely better)
