Louis Posted December 8, 2014 Share #1 Posted December 8, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have not used my new D-Lux very often because of the bad weather and some obligations! But this Sunday, despite the cold weather, it was sunny and I decided to visit my neighborhood farmers market that was open only half way! As usual, these are all shot in RAW and processed in Photoshop. Welcome, dear visitor! A miller Posted December 8, 2014 Share #2 Posted December 8, 2014 Louis, my friend, if I hadn't just drank three bowls of my wife's soup, I'd be mighty hungry after viewing your shots. The colors are simply wonderful. With colors like these and the IQ of the camera, I would be disappointed if you continue to convert as much as you did in B&W with your other camera. Have fun and don't let the bad weather interfere with your shooting. That camera can shoot like a pro in the eye of a tornado Best, Adam
fotografr Posted December 8, 2014 Share #3 Posted December 8, 2014 You are certainly getting along well with that new little camera. Great work. And a nice market, too.
pauledell Posted December 8, 2014 Share #4 Posted December 8, 2014 An excellent series of the makings of a delicious soup. Your new camera seems to be doing quite well. Does it appear to be far superior to the previous models of the D-Lux? Paul
John Basso Posted December 8, 2014 Share #5 Posted December 8, 2014 Hello Louis. Those shots are so realistic ,that it wants you to pick the vegetables right from the screen. Amazing colours and sharpness with the excellent use of light. This camera in your hands should make Panasonic o so proud of their creation .It is my view they should use your photographs in their advertising program. Bravo:John Basso.
Iduna Posted December 8, 2014 Share #6 Posted December 8, 2014 Louis, your new camera works well in your hands: this is a very pleasant series with good composition in fine light and details. For me no 1 with the arrangement of colored cabbage and the last one with cabbage /beetroot are my favourites. Thanks for sharing these pictures and keep going. This is the right camera for you...

I admit that in the past, I was converting very often to BW because I was not very happy with the colors of that tiny sensor; and, I am getting a much better result with 109. But that said, I am still a big fan of BW. Even in the past, I was shooting 90% of the time with BW films..... But I also realized that converting 109 files to BW gives a much better result!... So, I can't wait for a better weather and some street shots that I can convert to BW!
Louis Posted December 8, 2014 Author Share #9 Posted December 8, 2014 An excellent series of the makings of a delicious soup. Your new camera seems to be doing quite well. Does it appear to be far superior to the previous models of the D-Lux? Paul Paul, thank you very much for your positive feedback!... Yes, my friend; 109 gives a much better file than the previous DL cameras. The sensor is much bigger and the IQ and DR are superior!

Dee, you are too kind; thank you very much! ... If Rembrandt had a camera, I am sure he would choose a Leica M and not the modest DLux!
