Hi Iduna, you really do have lovely forests! These are all such nice shots...but I think the second and the last are strongest and most interesting for the simple inclusion of the shadows adding depth to the composition. What a delightful autumn you are having!

We seem to share an interest for forests. This is a fine series and my favourite is the second, maybe because it is BW. But it is also more depth in no2 maybe due to the shadows in the foreground.

we di share the same liking for forests. You are right about your choice here. Strange, that the pictures seem to appeare her quite bright. My originals are woth more depth of color. Perhaps I'll look into that matter. Maybe due to this immense compression to the forum size is responsible for loss in depth ansd color range. I noticed that I had to compress from 8 MB files. I work with 16 Bit files and do the sharpness as a last step before stepping down to an 8 Bit file. With B&W IR I noticed that they need a special treatment of highpass sharpness filter also.

Lovely…I particularly like the third (b&w) shot - where the visual texture of those trees becomes almost abstract.
