Another fog picture with Ilford HP5 400 Isos , at 7:00 am (quite difficult light conditions)

but the film captures well the atmosphere with the fog droplets (which freshen the face) and film grain silver !

With a large margin and a black frame .

I'll enlarge in 13 x 17 cms and on the argentic bright paper Ilford

What do you think ?

This is wonderful. Compostition is perfect, greys are beautiful, and the atmosphere exudes rural France. Brings back memories of the canal du midi.

And Yes - make a beautiful print, with a white mat and frame. On silver paper.

Merci Michael

Thank you for your nice comment. My sister has already reserved this photo for her living room :)

Henry,

maybe. My dealer offers an M 7 for 180,-- € or so. I is almost like new, has this solid fine touch, a bit heavy but perhaps I cannot withstand....

180 Euros or 1800 E Iduna ?

If that is the price of 180 E, do not hesitate :D

A beautiful M7 sells for around 1500 E. I bought 2 new M7, more expensive than it

We have discussion with the film here , look at this thread :)

Henry, if you keep this up you will have us all going out and buying an M-A or other film camera. As it is I am so tempted and it is only the incredible convenience of digital that holds me back.....your lovely film images are making it so difficult to resist.

Dee, you should try the new MA (without exposure cell, as in the good old time, I wait for mine in order) or the M7 or MP (still available). I have 2 M7 (black and silver)

Some pictures of the M9 does not look like the M7 like fog because the grain of the film is inimitable and grain gives a bonus to the photo

Thanks for your comment and for looking :)

In vertical shooting, and always under frame with a large margin, it gives more perspective :)
