I don't have a film for my film camera yet. It's still waiting for her first photoshoot. No idea how it will start it how it will ends though, all I know is that film is king and for photographic situations like fog or gradient sky views, nothing would beat film. You and other film shooters are a source of inspiration for me.

You are welcome :)

It's never too late, after 5 years of M8 and M9 with sometimes some synthetic digital images

I return to film (40 years of practice) with my M7 and soon M-A

Vanishing line in the fog

Fog droplets and film grain great symbiosis

I started with film switched to digital, then to Leica and the M9 is the responsible of this film comeback. ;-)

XVarior, ... but some people say on a friend french forum , that is the M 240 (Cmos sensor) , which is responsible :)

For color like Kodak Portra 400 , M8 and M9 (CCD sensor) are closest to the film

Look at post 1273 of this thread :

Henry,

This is the best yet in my opinion. A classic.

Henry,

your whole series is full of great captures with a special atmopshere and mood. There is just the right density of fog which is not easy to define when using digital photography. Your choice solved that problem perfectly. Thanks fo sharing these dreamy impressions

Hallo Henry.

These wonderful shots with the film you used to bring out the foggy atmosphere ,brings back a lot of memories from my time in Holland, which has a lot of fog. Greetings:John Basso.

Thank you John for looking and let a comment. Yes I like also fog ... but there is also the famous "London fog" seen in the no less famous film Jack the Ripper :)
