platypus Posted October 24, 2014 Share #2 Posted October 24, 2014 Bill, A lovely shot with it's fine detail and rich colours. It's interesting to experience your season morphing to winter as our hot summer is almost here, a little bit surreal really!
pauledell Posted October 24, 2014 Share #3 Posted October 24, 2014 Bill, The crisp autumn colors along with the accompanying sharpness make this a lovely seasonal picture. Paul
Northwest Wanderer Posted October 24, 2014 Author Share #4 Posted October 24, 2014 Thank you Dee & Paul. Yes, winter is on the way before long. Time to get everything ready. Hay in the barn and a good supply of firewood for the wood stove. The best part is the bald eagles will start arriving at the local lake next month. That's always a treat for me. Northwest Wanderer Posted October 26, 2014 Author Share #11 Posted October 26, 2014 Thank you Henry. I have native plants on my property that provide food and shelter for birds that winter in my area. It's my way of respecting nature.
