Iduna Posted September 17, 2014 Share #1 Posted September 17, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Summer is back for a few days and it is a pleasure to visit our local Botanical Garden as an afterwork "rehabilitation". Sun is low now and when I reach there no backlighting any more. Tripod, reflector, torch and almost no breeze. I wanted to use a free bounced flash with remote releas ( but battery was gone ) The glowing red is a challenge any time. pauledell Posted September 18, 2014 Share #5 Posted September 18, 2014 Iduna, A lovely series with the stunning colors. The last shot reminds me of a miniature red hot air balloon designed as a flower. Paul
Iduna Posted September 18, 2014 Author Share #6 Posted September 18, 2014 Paul, many thanks. The red balloons were most difficult to capture: fading light, tripod deep down on the ground with removed middle segment. I could have managed to get it full without crop but then the red dots at the bottom would have been missing. It is an adventure to enter this world of macro. More is possible and already being imagined.
