Tom Barry Posted August 26, 2014 Share #10 Posted August 26, 2014 I love the shot of the tiny bee on the huge sunflower - but that shot of the field of sunflower is stunning!
Louis Posted August 26, 2014 Share #11 Posted August 26, 2014 Ece, your "field" shot is one of the best - if not the best - landscape shot I have seen for a very long time!... Not only the colors, but also your composition, framing, angle, and the choice of lens make this shot a real masterpiece IMHO!... In shorter words, I love it!
allamande Posted August 29, 2014 Author Share #12 Posted August 29, 2014 Thank you, everyone, for giving me such encouraging feedback! I am very happy to know that you liked this image. When I was a kid, we used to go to a summer camp on the Marmara Sea, and the place was surrounded by sunflower fields. It was a special joy to go hiking among these tall beauties, and toward the end of summer, when they were ripe for the picking, to actully pick some and eat the seeds off the flower. I still remember the aroma and the taste of those seeds. Talk about farm to table..... Louis, as always, your support lifts me up to higher ground, and gives me the motivation I need to get out there and keep exploring the world with my camera. Thank you for your kind words, from the bottom of my heart! Ece
