Louis,

I know this, people are sometimes dull without imagination! I usually snap back when being asked in a silly way: oh, there is a lot to see here....but sometimes poeple are interested (and then the magic moment will be gone...

John, thank you very much for your wonderful words.

This "dead" tree was on the trail where I jog. I was seeing it for sometime and I always found some kind of beauty in it. I finally decided to take a shot. People around were wondering if I was OK! Lol

Simply beautiful b&w work. That is one of the things that is so fascinating about b&w photography; that inherent subtle magic of light and dark that enables something lovely (and thought provoking) to be created from what may appear to be almost nothing.

Dee, thank you very much!... In the good old days, I was by far more interested in B/W films than in color; although, I always had 2 cameras with me for each. But it always took me a very long time to finish the color film. In digital, everything becomes much easier and "lighter"! We can do so much in Photoshop!... But I guess, my eyes see most of the things in B/W from the old habits!... Some people think that most of us do B/W to give a "Leica Look"; but this is not my case as I grew up with Nikon and now, I shoot mostly with a P&S made by Panasonic! ;)
