Default Rose In Winter

I was going through some very old negs the other day and came across one of my first Leica images. This was taken sometime back in the early 1980s. It is a rose behind my parents home and the white background is a stucco that covered the foundation.

Wow - that's stunning.

I like the way that you have just caught more than a silhouette on the edge of the dead rose at the top.

Good stuff - thanks for sharing

Brent,

very strong composition and, as Andy has already observed, great light.

Brent,

Andy on top described perfectly well what you magnificently captured. Very well seen.

Brent -

I agree completely with Andy, and add that the placement and curve of the flower makes for an excellent composition.
