Default Nature's Models

I'm in the middle of my Alaskan trip ...

here's the first .... M8; 90mm Summicron-M APO Asph (no IR filter yet)

Arthur,

Great shots! I can’t believe these guys will sit there while you photograph them with a Leica M.

Hopefully you will have time to share both information about and photos of this trip.

Bill,

Yes, Alaska is the only place I know where these eagles are so used to people feeding them, so much so their comfort distance is incredibly small. However, feeding wild eagles is now outlawed and *only* one person is grandfathered into the new law. This lady has been feeding them in the last 25 years and she is 83 years old.

Gorgeous, and lovely light, color, detail and composition. Now that we are into La Nina, be very happy that coastal Alaska is so clear.
