You included some useful improvements which will please most users. I particularly value the extended Auto ISO range and the more versatile INFO button. However, might I suggest top priority for any future firmware upgrade should be the following. Critical focusing confirmation depends on magnified examination of a review image. On my X1, when looking at an enlarged section, I merely rotate the thumb wheel to see a direct comparative section of any other similar shots in that sequence. Sadly that simple procedure is not possible with the X Vario. Instead, a repeated lengthier review and enlargement routine is needed.
