Good evening guys,

Now that I am looking for a nice case for my X1 and I was almost buying a Leica 18731 protector, I sent a note to the seller and he told me the case only fits the X2. I thought X1 and X2 were basically the same body, so I am a little confused, because there are other cases described as for either X1 or X2.

Any advice will be really appreciate since I don´t want to use the camera naked!

Although the length is identical, the depth (and height) are not):

X2

124 x 51.5 x 69mm

L x D x H

X1

124 x 39 x 59.5mm

L x D x H

Ricardo, while I have an original erc, I mostly just use the half-case. For travel, I have found my Lowepro Apex AW100 belt case ideal. It also takes small spares, such as battery, cleaning cloth, memory card and a crib sheet reminding me what presets I have set.
