Together with my M the flash is ok when set to TTL.

As a second camera, I have just bought the X-Vario. All pictures taken with the SF 24D are underexposed when set to TTL. I have of of course set an aperture accordance to the distance to the object In mode A, when the flash measures the light, it is ok

Settings on camera: f:3,5, and "A" for exposure time.

When use the built in flash exposure is ok.

Are there somebody there can explain the right setting, so I will be happy to get your advice.

Thanks

I found similar results with the SF 24D on my X Vario in TTL. Underexposure and overexposure. 'A' mode did work better. But in the end I was thinking, why am I unbalancing this fairly small camera with a flash that is about the same size? I took it off and just used the pop-up. I hope they address the TTL issue with a firmware update. Some time this year please Leica!

Oh dear ...... how many times have we heard this with Leica .......

So many cameras seem to work poorly with even their own flashes ..... seems to be a chronic problem that they just never seem to put any effort into .......

I too have tried and basically given up.

They are just not flash friendly cameras. XV included.

These days I use cheap (but excellent) off camera Yongnuo flashes on manual and a wireless trigger.
