S2 discontinued already?

But over at dpReview, someone pointed out that B&H has just modified their S2 listing to read "discontinued", and someone else chimed in with another retailer that also just switched it to discontinued.

That is not what B&H does with regard to price on a product that does not have one yet. They would never put discontinued unless it was and already had a price, the S2 never had one, example of that Apple | Xserve G5 2GHz Server, 512MB, 80GB SATA HD | M9216LLA

. Now not saying this is real but I know how B&H functions been buying from them for 35 years. Only a few items will they take a pre-order which they never did in the past . Here is a example of that olympus ep1 | B&H Photo Video

Hard to say in the S2 case since it never had a price going in. Now B&H does weird things also so really hard to say but I doubt this post to begin with

They did take it off last night for several hours, not long after I read this thread they've put it back. I should have taken a screen shot.

It seem there's a hotline between Leica and B&H, remember last time I posted B&H discontinued the Digilux 3? they restored the link and status in no time but only added one in stock and I discovered it when trying to add multiple units into the cart.

Must be someone special who could let B&H's webmaster to update the link and/or database in the night at eastern standard time.

According to this Leica’s Christian Erhardt :: More on the Leica S2! at Imaging Insider it's on track with a pricing announcement expected by the end of July.
