New video section in S League

The S-League website and App now contain a video section.

 

I wonder if this is just for hip BTS-videos or if this is a sign that the rumoured new S that is supposed to be announced around Photokina next month will have video/motion possibilities ... I guess the magazine/App would be a good platform for Leica to showcase the video options of the new camera.

 

I'm really curious what video on a 30x45 mm sensor would look like. Keeping a subject in focus will not be easy with such a large sensor, but it might be an interesting approach to arrive at a certain epic look.

 

Maybe the camera will only use a smaller part of the sensor. I suppose that will happen anyway in some form or another because the video will probably be 16:9. If there will be video, of course.

 

BTW there's now an Android version of the App available.
