Loose screws

Folks, I resurrected my R6.2 yesterday for it's 6 month test and have just noticed its missing some of the tiny screws in the base plate. The plate itself is not in danger of dropping off but it can't seriously be described as secure. Before I contact Leica themselves does anyone know the specifications of these things so perhaps I can source them closer to home? I've absolutely no idea where these have gone as when I regularly used the camera it was with the drive and grip attached for ease of handling. Since then it's lived in its case and boxed and a check hasn't revealed any of the screws rattling around there. It's more cosmetic really but I am of a mind to sell the camera now and would like to have a perfect working and cosmetic order.

Any ideas Ladies and Gentlemen? Thanks for reading.

Steve

Mods, just for the record if I do decide to sell it will be via the forum through a paid advert, I'm not fishing for a buyer, genuine wish to resolve my OCD. :)

Are you sure the holes are from missing screws? My R-E has 3 screws in the base plate and 2 holes for the winder's locating pins.

In direct answer though, if I've needed screws like this, I've called into my local charity shop/trash and treasure market/car boot sale/or garage sale. You will be sure to find a camera somewhere with the right coloured screws, for sale at a very cheap price (whether it's working or not isn't relevant).

At an (educated and experienced) guess, you might be looking at around A$1 to A$5 for such a camera.

You might solve your problem and have fun at the same time.

Hope this helps.
