I've posted here before, so forgive the repeat. But is is justified: I have just posted a large folio of work done entirely with a M9 and almost entirely with a 35mm f/1.4 SUMMILUX-M ASPH
The folio, called Turning The Wall: a Trench Town Journey, is co-authored with S. Dixon Myers, who wrote most of the text, and it accompanies what hopefully will be a large book. Please take a look and let me know what you think! Pradip Malde (Sorry for the flash version only and apologies in advance to those with slow connections - it is rather large!) A Blurb version of the book is also available: Turning The Wall | By Pradip Malde and S. Dixon Myers | Category: Arts & Photography | Blurb http://pradipmalde.com/blog/wp-conte...64-800x532.jpg Thanks everyone for a helpful and lively forum! Last edited by Sonofido; 14/05/12 at 22:03. Dear all, What a great initiative - now with the announcement of the new Leica cameras and the M-E, the reviews of the M9 appear to be still relevant :-)
I've been shooting with an M9 for close to two years now (and with an M8 for a year before) and I've written on a couple of occasions about my experience with it. Here's one of my writings about the experience after 1 year with the M9: 1 Year with Leica M9 - Retrospective; and about And I also had a few months earlier this summer when the rumours for the new M were coming up thinking that I should perhaps downgrade while the prices were still higher and I had an M8 for some time shooting them either in parallel or focusing more on the M8 (my M9 was also in need for calibration which it did get in the end). So I wrote up some thoughts on this inner battle as well: The Unlikely Duel - M8 vs. M9. Or Hope you find them both interesting.

I began blogging just a few days ago. Pics are made with an M9, a Fuji X-Pro1 and a Canon EOS 5 MkII. You will find the camera information in each article's end.
See link below in the signature. It's in German but hope you like it. Greetings from Peine wutschel Last edited by wutschel; 07/10/12 at 04:05. |

Hello everyone. I wanted to share my brand new web site. Alot of these images were created with an M-E but some were done with an M6 and a Digilux 2. Any feedback is appreciated!

Hello Colleagues,
I have enjoyed looking through several of these portfolios. I am relatively new to Leica and the forum but, while waiting for the M with idle glass, I did have the opportunity to shoot with both the M9-P and MM. You can see the photographs I made with each at www.davidmhuff.com under sub-menus "Leica M9-P Yosemite 2013" and "Leica Monochrom M 2013". Regards, David |
