WRB Posted February 5, 2015 Share #1 Posted February 5, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) This morning I took a series of images at f11, yet when imported them into Lightroom the EXIF data records the aperture at f13. Has anyone else experienced this issue and do you know why? Thanks Roger
Advertisement Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Hi WRB, Take a look here Importing images from the M9 to Lightroom 5.7. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
TomB_tx Posted February 5, 2015 Share #2 Posted February 5, 2015 A common question. The M9 can only estimate the f stop based on the brightness of the image compared to the brightness of the light hitting the external light sensor on the front of the camera. It seldom agrees exactly with the true f stop.
WRB Posted February 5, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted February 5, 2015 Makes sense, thanks Tom. So am I correct in saying that the true aperture is the one I set on the lens and not what Lightroom states? Thanks
