MM - vertical alignment off again!

Hi

My MM vertical alignment has gone out again. It happened after a very minor drop of about 10 cm as I was putting it into a bag on a table. The sort of minor knock that causes no damage and happens often in regular use...

 

Last time this happened I was without the camera for 6 weeks having it adjusted as its not something done locally in London.

 

Is this something I can do? Do other people align their RFs? I'm quite handy with tools, and since this now seems to be an annual occurrence it looks like something I need to be prepared to fix myself!! Especially as this weekend I'm going to have to use the camera intensively at an event and put up with the mis-aligned RF.

I don't say this often as it sounds really easy, but search the forum in this case. There are plenty of threads on the subject.

If your camera gets knocked out of alignment easily, have a qualified repairman check whether the locking glue is still intact.
