Advertisement Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Hi patrick parker, Take a look here 9 reasons not to buy an M9 on 9/9/09. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
futureancient Posted September 4, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 4, 2009 You seem fairly sure of these. I guess I won't buy one then.
UliWer Posted September 4, 2009 Share #3 Posted September 4, 2009 ... 9) Anderas Kaufmann’s evil smirk Please feel free to add the 10th reason. 10. Loosing all the fun reading threads like this if you buy one. (Your 9th reason was erroneous: the smile you saw on the Leica video was by Mr. Spiller.) patrick parker Posted September 4, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted September 4, 2009 I'll probably get one, i doubt it'll more than 1 of the first 7 faults. I'm joking about Andreas of course, he's a decent man.
patrick parker Posted September 4, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted September 4, 2009 I never saw the video, I meant Kaufmann. I'll check it out now.

Guest Deek Hertz Posted September 4, 2009 Share #11 Posted September 4, 2009 The Omen Edition M9 - black paint and red leather, pentacle engraved in red on the top plate. ha ha ha, and every time there is a street lamp in your night shot it draws a red streak through it instead of the classic green of M8. Because it is evil you see.
UliWer Posted September 4, 2009 Share #12 Posted September 4, 2009 Just one reason. A five figure price tag for the M9 and one lens. How do you know? Or do you think only of "one lens"? O.k., together with the noctilux, even a second hand M8 would bring you to five figures.
hoppyman Posted September 4, 2009 Share #13 Posted September 4, 2009 Nope, this is the new CEO Herr Spilller. However certainly Stefan Daniel is also a very handsome fellow! you can meet Herr Daniel in the Hessenpark report video by Andreas if you haven't seen him before Nope, not Spiller i just watched the video he's got the smile of an angel. God bless him.

Patrick, for such a low volume 'adventurer' to this forum, you seem very well informed. Please share your source of inform(ous)ation. If stating blatant misinformation is your attempt at humour, it is not working, at least in this quarter and I suspect others. Note that this is an International Forum where cultures and ideas vary widely such that what is acceptable to some can be offensive to others. We are all guilty of such transgressions at times, (self included), but caution, especially from a newby, is good counsel until you get the measure of the forum. Let me just say that by flipping nearly ALL your points will bring you much closer to the real M9 which leaves a very strong incentive to rush out and buy one if you can and if your photographic needs are such that your work will benefit from the dramatic improvement beyond the already very accomplished M8.
