35 lux ASPH non 6 bit

HI all
I have a front focus problem with my 35 lux asph non 6 bit Wide Open.
How do I fix this problem?
In the forums I saw some justing their m8 to make things work but if I adjust for this lens then what happens to all my other lens? will thoses lens be off then?

First, the coding has nothing to do with front or back focusing problems. That is a matter of vignetting and colour shifts only. And you are right, if your lens has a focusing problem, it is the lens that must be adjusted. That is a job for an authorized Leica repair facility, one with a collimator instrument. Probably Solms.

Does your lens misfocus wide open, or stopped down? The lens, like most high speed lenses, does exhibit focus shift on stopping down, but hopefully within d.o.f. tolerances. Leica adjust the focus of their lenses at full aperture, where it is most critical. I hope you will not take it amiss if I point out that a lot of focusing faults we have heard about have been due to 'pilot error' in the specific case. Also, the importance of the problem has sometimes been unduly hyped. I can see focus shift in my 35mm Summilux ASPH when I peep at pixels at one hundred percent, but reality tests have convinced me that the problem is negligible. My own margin of focusing error is far greater. The shots come out fine when I do my bit.

I fully agree; the focus shift issue is over-rated in my personal experience with the 35mm Lux ASPH.

Well I did a test and laid out a ruler.
Lens at f1.4
min distance at 45 degree angle.
I then focus on the number 15.
Looking at the ruler with low numbers away from me.
the ruler is positioned up and down vertically.
when looking at the picture the 15 should be the center of focus but it is not.
the 16 looks like the center of focus.
Same test done with the 50mm lux .
15 is in focus.
Also when I shoot people with the 50 I focus on the eyes and it is spot on.
With the 35 lux the the eyes are not in focus.
I know I am not doing anything wrong because
when I was shooting with a 35 cron I did not have this problem.
Also the 28 elmarit.
