Default Wedding photographer

My daughter's getting married next year and I'm looking for a photographer. Thought I'd ask here as we're looking to find someone who can offer slightly more than the safe, posed shots often associated with wedding photographs. (No disrespect to those who offer safe, posed shots: nothing wrong with them)

Location is 30 miles south of London, date 12th June 2009

Hello,

I may be able to help. Take a look at an Indian wedding I shot earlier this month. My FlickR link is at the bottom of my signature. If you like what you see, drop me a line on 07956 358 999.

Best wishes,

We have an expert in informal wedding photography here in the UK. Search for 'Brett' or 'bybrett' . He has posted some stunning work in the 'People' section of the forum. It is short notice, but if he is free I am sure he would help you. He also uses Leica kit. See his feature in the current issue of LFI. Hope that helps and good luck!

PS Just noticed the conflict in your dates. You say next year yet quote 2009!

Weddings are my main business, and I do much more than the safe, posed shots ... but I'm rather far from London.

Riccis, is of course a top-of-the line guy, and he is certainly unconventional.

Default AW: Wedding photographer

hi Dubois
London sounds fun!
If its 2009 or 2010, I am still available at June the 12th.
I do however use a japanese SLR and not a german Leica, but I guess you are looking after good photography and not who made the gear...

best regards
Richard

Amazing! Half a dozen wedding photographers already...

David - thanks for the referral, it's probably June 2010 as that's a Saturday.

Dubois - Guy, Rolo, myself, we all cover the UK... see flickr for my latest M8 work. I'm sure Riccis would love the trip if you buy the ticket...

Cheers

Wow, amazing response. Keep em coming but allow me a few days to look at your galleries. So if I don't reply soon it's not that I'm necessarily disinterested.

So very sorry the date is 12th JUNE 2010, not 2009 Must be the confusion brought on by the emotion. OK perhaps ist's just old age

Where does Riccis hang out? I've seen some of his stuff and it's very good!

Ricci would be my first choice, the second would be me :-)

I am based in the Tenerife, Canary Islands but I travel worlwide. Please contact in private message if interested.

By the way, they are many great wedding photographers not just Ricci and me LOL

The most important is to decide on the style you want and the budget you have.

regards,

Eric

Any of the names mentioned here are great guys and you can't go wrong. I can also recommend my dear friend and fellow member Jamie Roberts.

Dubois - The world is my playground as long as there is an airport I can fly into
I have about six weddings all over Europe this year and there is also a chance that I will be in London this October.

As always, I am humbled to have my name mentioned here. Thanks guys!

Cheers,

Cheers,
That puts me in the same place too; thanks so much for your kind words, Riccis.

I also love the UK, and my Ms and I would love a trip there too!

Riccis I cannot believe you did not mention me !!!! A recent slow convert to Leica.

Hi Guys I am just in the throws of doing some stuff with a leica, I am normally a Nikon Shooter

Contemporary wedding photographer Epsom Downs, Surrey

Dubois have a look at the gallery, my style is informal, casual and certainly not intrussive. Sounds perfect for a Leica as I gather more interest.

I am based in the South of London, ping me if you connect with my work.

you never know I could get Riccis to fly over from Miami and Brett to fly in from Wolverhampton as helpers

:-)
