wlaidlaw Posted November 12, 2008 Share #2 Posted November 12, 2008 Exclusive : Samsung T929 Leica, a new T-Mobile Phone!! : T Mobile News & Phone Reviews From Cell Phone Signal Not sure what it has to do with Leica. They could call it "Rolls Royce" it would not make it one. Yet another "me too" phone with more pixels than the miniscule chip can handle and a lens made out of a discarded wine bottle bottom. stunsworth Posted November 12, 2008 Share #3 Posted November 12, 2008 ...a lens made out of a discarded wine bottle bottom. Hic! I have to say it's great fun emptying those bottles for the telecom companies camera phones. Can it be worse that the camera in the iPhone? A way of getting us to buy into the 3rd generation I'd guess.

chris_livsey Posted November 12, 2008 Share #6 Posted November 12, 2008 Interesting though that the three classes of cameras with no AA filters are currently Leica M8, Medium Format digital backs and mobile phone cameras. The latter because the lenses are so grim and the diffraction limiting, due to pixel density, so high that they don't need any more blur
