I've got both Tri Elmars (16-18-21 & 28-35-50) as well as a 24mm Elmarit & 28mm Summicron.
I love the Tri-Elmars for travelling, very versatile and excellent results. In fact I've just been traveling around Europe with the 2 Tri-Elmars for a few weeks. I also agree with previous comments that each lens is suited to a particular use. I do find that the one lens I'm using least is the 24mm. I also have the Leica finder, but seldom use it, the draw back is its bulkiness. You eventually get used to what's in the camera's viewfinder, even though that's not ideal. Next month I'm doing a desert safari to Namibia, both the 24mm & 28mm will stay behind as the f2 wont be needed in bright desert conditions, it's all covered with the 2 Tri-Elmars. MIKE |
