Default Bright blue dot on LCD screen?

Hello all,

I just noticed this a couple of weeks ago, so I don't think it was there when I first got my M8 about a month ago. There is now a bright blue pixel (or perhaps a couple, hard to tell) in the lower left of my LCD screen. It doesn't show up in the photos themselves once they have been uploaded to my iMac, just on the LCD screen of the camera and it only shows up if the image is dark or underexposed. Shots taken in good light aren't affected. It will also sometimes literally disappear when reviewing photo's on the LCD of the M8 on some pictures...in other words, you'll see it initially but when the photo fully loads in, it will vanish...on other shots, it's there regardless and doesn't go away.

I have ordered a new SD card-a SanDisk Extreme lll 2 GB to see if that makes a difference (I've been using a SanDisk Ultra ll 1GB).

It would seem that if it were a stuck pixel it would be there constantly, not dependent on the exposure or ISO setting.

Does anybody know what this could be?
